Hansen Band - Kamera

Thanks to my friend Thyella for introducing me to Hansen Band! The best song from their album Keine Lieder über Liebe, in my opinion, is this! Enjoy! Oh, it's German :D I have forgotten most of it :D But it's good xD

Thought #39: SMILE TOT

I will be smiling. Then. It's weird. Having so little time, when it flies by so fast you can't even realize it's gone, yet, acting so stupid. I could go on and on counting the mistakes I've made in my life. Thoughts of having grown up are constantly pulverized by memories of utter stupidity. Lost Time. Do blanks fill voids? Underscores do. A certain one would be "glad" to know that I got a new cell phone. There, underscores make spaces. Even more?

Time Lost. You feel free to dream, to think, to find your purpose in life. When you have nothing else to do. But I don't have the luxury of time. And I should not be fooling around. Feeling like I have nothing else to do, when I have too many obligations, too many tasks to undertake. And complete. All these things would make for all the time I spent dilly-dallying. All these things complete. Scared to death when people who expect something from me, would call, to get nothing in return. But I simply couldn't. No excuses. I wanted to feel free. And that feeling overwhelmed me. Still does. Lost Time.

So much envy. For people involved with things they love. No life's work for me. No masterpiece. Hopes of grandeur, importance and significance, turn into illusions. Delusions. Nothing will be as it was planned out to be. The plan was mine. The execution mine as well. No one to blame but myself. Thus, I hope to live once more. Being no Hindu I shouldn't believe such a thing may happen after death. Being a fool... now... everything's excused... Oaths are made to be broken. But I swear. To my second other. No more time lost...

Super Mario Galaxy

OK, where do I sign up for the ride??? Incredible graphics for a Wii game! Mario in space! Scheduled for release in 2007, I don't think we'll see this before summer, but it's in my to-buy list already! Game Developers Conference trailer from the Nintendo presentation.

Weekend Wall 46

Makes you wonder how much "safe for work"...

... an anime girl in swimwear eating cake can be...

LittleBigPlanet

At the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, this particularly quirky video game made an appearance. Those of you with a broadband connection, try to be patient and let the full video download. I've become a Sony hater after all the wrong moves they've made with the PS3 (delays, development issues, scorn of Europe, lost exclusive titles) but this trailer made my day and rekindled my interest for the PS3.

I haven't yet decided what genre exactly the game falls into, but it looks amazingly unique and brilliant! Part Sims, part platform with real physics integration, enjoy LittleBigPlanet! And who knows? Maybe we'll end up exchanging items, characters or whole stages in the future with our PS3s! Well, the long distant future that is.

5 things about myself

A friend invited me to write 5 things about myself so here they are:

1. My favourite toy growing up as a child was a cute pink hand-puppet of a cat with blue eyes. I rarely took it off my hand. One day my grandma made meatballs for the thousandth time and I threw a tantrum smashing my little kitty on the plate, making its eye fly out and disappear. I never found it again, as much as me and my grandma searched for that blue eye... Maybe I ate it...

2. I am terribly shy with people I don't know or haven't seen for a long time that I try to avoid any contact with them. Because of this, I appear to be snobbish, cold, or simply a big jerk, but I'm just anxious of what to say, how they see me, etc... My shyness streak made me wet my pants at the age of 15, wetting the floor of my grandma's best friend, because I was too shy to ask to go to the toilet (or too stupid). I returned home wet and worried, pretending I fell in a puddle of water... I haven't got the courage to look at the lady in the eyes ever since...

3. I have the memory span of a goldfish. I used to be much better at remembering things, but nowadays, I easily forget. Or my memory is selective...

4. People think I'm skinny, but in fact, though my limbs appear to be thin, I have breasts and a beer-belly (although I don't drink beer that often...) I blame my mother for feeding me chicken all the time...

5. I wouldn't hold back when challenged, even if it means I'll get my ass kicked in the process...

I call En-Lighted and Aenaos (and anyone else who'd like to fill the remaining 3 invites) to take up on my challenge and write 5 things about themselves that I didn't know or wouldn't dare ask. GO!

The Mozart Effect

Get smarter, by listening to complex pieces of music... Or so Stephan and other respectable researchers say. They call it the Mozart effect. As the theory goes, you get to raise your spatio-temporal reasoning for a whole... 15 minutes! (Kinda like the Andy Warhol 15 minutes of fame quote!). So listen to this classical piece for 4 hands on 1 piano (no matter what the title says):

Good luck getting smarter! :D

Weekend Wall 43

Be wary of adults acting like children...

... be terrified when gigantic moustached men throw tantrums...

i Post

If I had company at the moment I'd name this “Wii post”. These last few days were a blast. Wii (me and some friends) have played Sports and silly little games, created our Mii-s and even voted on the Everybody Votes Channel. Right now I'm online, posting on my blog using the Internet Channel. Tricky, but cool!! Today I went back to my gaming days. Spent the morning random battling with my thief, white and red mage and warrior in Final Fantasy III and the afternoon Zelda: Twilight Princess made me its bitch for 4 whole hours. Or was that Midna... Hahaha. Anyways, gotta go back to the real world! More, normal, posts coming soon!

Lest I forget: Happy Birthday Billy! (~'.')~

A Love Story

Στο Media Markt.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! ^_^ Lots of love and kisses :)

ESC 2007 Greek Entries

We have to choose from these 3 on February 28th! I really like Dantis' song. What do you think? Vote for your favourite in the poll above!

Sarbel - Yassou Maria

Tamta - With Love

Christos Dantis - No Madonna

Thought #38: It's in our eyes

They're shifting again...

Four cogwheels.

Turning.

Moving, so that they can find their true position.

Shifting, cause there are others, left aside, covering dust, their metal rusted, pushing them aside. Ironic... The rusty ones acquired years later. To help the various processes of a stale mind. But they were never used. Not so much as the rest of them, for years and years.

Each cog clings to another. In pairs or groups. Working together, to move.

To move.

Body and soul.

Such heavy machinery needs a lot of them to function properly. Or few. If they are reliable ones.

The better crafted, the better the outcome. No collapse, no relapse, no malfunction.

From high to low. Interchanged, intertwined, rarely replaced.
This is how I operate.

Metallic sounds are heard again. Creaking metal, squeaking cogs, the clanging battle's almost over.

They're in position...
